Medical Bookkeeping Services (Perth, Western Australia) was established by Vanessa Chappell who practiced for over 20 years as a Sports Physiotherapist before qualifying as a BAS Agent and Bookkeeper. She thus understands the complexities of administration in the medical profession.
Vanessa is a qualified BAS (Business Activity Statement) Agent with the Australian Tax Practitioners Board and registered as a Member with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. She specialises in working with General Practitioners (or doctors undergoing the RACGP training program) but has completed the BAS Tutorial with doctors from a wide variety of specialties.
Vanessa has developed this training session to support the graduating doctor as they navigate from being an employee to an independent contractor/ tenant doctor, and are facing the task of understanding and completing the BAS.
